About Me
the one-liner:
I’m a curious cat from the Green Mountains of Vermont who is eager to help.
the jargon-filled bio:
My storytelling journey began in the pit of a newsroom as a reporter covering the United States Marine Corps. A fan of human interest stories, my article about a chili cook-off is a personal favorite, and I am the recipient of the 2010 Sam Stavisky Award for Combat Reporting.
I exchanged my pen and camera for traditional marketing communications roles after completing a graduate degree in public relations at Boston University.
In both agency and in-house settings, I have worked with a diverse portfolio of B2C and B2B clients across a variety of roles, from media relations to social media.
My resume also includes some of the not-so-common, such as transferring B-roll footage from an Afghan compound or interviewing an adult film star about privacy rights. I also bring experience in customer service, sales, and operations at a Fortune 50 retailer.
I'm a firm believer in paying it forward, and I volunteer with two nonprofits to support sustainability and to bring the creative arts to the military community.
Having recently completed my MBA, I am looking for employment in marketing, communications, branding, and strategy. Reach out below or connect via social to connect, talk shop, or just say ‘Hello.’

What I'm Working On

ARMED SERVICES ARTS PARTNERSHIP
A Creative Community Where Veterans Thrive Through The Arts
I believe in the power of humor and laughter on many levels. A couple of years ago, my insatiable curiosity led me to try stand-up comedy, which introduced me to the Armed Services Arts Partnership (ASAP). ASAP offers free creative arts programs for the military community, with stand-up comedy among many entry points, alongside acting, improv, ceramics, and more. Move the clock forward, I now serve as the Chapter Lead in San Diego, fundraising and guiding local initiatives.
I encourage you to support the military by helping fund the creative arts.
